I was watching some of the Blood Omen 2 FMVs recently, and I ended up watching the one where Umah steals the Nexus stone from Kain in the mistaken belief that she can defeat the Sarafan Lord herself.
I always thought she was crazy for doing it - she had to know it wasn't going to end well (I mean, she couldn't even get past the guards...). Now, see, if I'd been in her shoes, this is how it would've gone: Umah: ...I shall be the one to find and kill the Sarafan Lord, and Nosgoth shall belong to the vampires once again. Kain: You fool. You have not the smallest chance of surviving such a battle. Now, give me the Nexus Stone, or I shall pry it from your thieving fingers as you convulse in death. Umah: Hey, no need for that, big guy. I was only messing! Here you go *big grin* And then everything would've worked out just peachy  Silly girl... Credits Thanks to *krazzydragon33 for pointing me at screenshots of the Nexus stone (and oh so much more!). The angle I used eventually doesn't show the stone very well, unfortunately, but at least the model's mostly accurate!
